At last...

...a night alone at a streetside coffee shop. No schoolwork (since I made the executive decision to put it off till tomorrow), no worries (pressing worries, at least), no interruptions (save the throngs of drunk co-eds passing by my table giving me the eye), no place I'd rather be, and no hesitations in saying I think John Bunyan and I would have gotten along great had we been contemporaries. God is good; tonight and always!

What does "getting the eye" look like, Mr. Coppedge?
And for your info, YOU are a dork for thinking I would actually go to an Apple conference. Jason, maybe, but not me...

I am madlyinsanely jealous, Ben. Pictures like this make me want my Athens back, bad.
(Anna. I am glad to know. I was a little worried...)

Jason...look how quickly Anna turns and rats you out. You computer dorks are not as loyal to one another as I suspected :0) I tease.
Rebecca...when I said in my post, there's "no place I'd rather be"...I forgot about Asheville. Malaprops on a spring night beats Walkers or Starbucks hands down.
Oh, have all the bluegrass bands at the icecream places started playin' yet?

Ah, Ben, I forgot how well you know!! Nope, no bluegrass bands out yet, but they're surely soon to come. And I don't know about "hands down" - I'd say about equal? You've got the mass numbers of undergrads to underscore the niceness; we've got the freak factor. And, a new great coffee shop's opened up downtown: the Dripolator (same as the one in Black Mountain, if you've been) - great atmosphere and coffee and late hours and wireless. Next time you're on a family visit, head over there!
